When the optometrist tells the narrator he needs glasses, he replies, "No way. Only dorks wear glasses!" "Wrong!" says the optometrist. "Your mom wears glasses. Your sister wears glasses... So do pink elephants, Hong-Kong-Flu bugs, snowmen and robots." Did he say pink elephants wear glasses? Is this optometrist bonkers?
