Books of Wonder
is very pleased to announce an event
that celebrates the joy, influence,
and power a children’s book can have
on readers as we host FIVE
contributors to the collection. In
this compilation, over 100
celebrated authors, artists, and
leaders of society were asked “What
children’s book changed the way you
see the world?” Put to the test,
the group passed with flying colors
citing some of the greatest works in
the genre as varied and diverse as
the selection of contributors. On
Thursday, December 3rd,
from 6-8pm, Books of Wonder
has the great pleasure of hosting
the author and editor of this
wonderful collection,
ANITA
SILVEY, and the
following contributors: Newbery
Honor author
GAIL C.
LEVINE (Ella Enchanted),
Newbery Honor author
ANN M.
MARTIN (A Dog’s Life);
award-winning artist and designer
WENDELL
MINOR (Look to the
Stars); National Ambassador
for Young People’s Literature
JON
SCIESZKA (The Stinky
Cheeseman…); and
three-time Caldecott Medalist

Ms. Silvey will give a slide-show
presentation, then each of the

their contribution to this great new
book, take questions from the
audience, and sign copies of all
their fantastic titles. Ages 7 and
