Books
of Wonder is excited to host a
launch party for Downtown Bookworks,
a new children’s publishing company,
on Tuesday, November 30th.
Started by Julie Merger when she
decided she could produce her
favorite kinds of books on her own,
from start to finish, this small
publisher with its quirky children’s
titles and five woman staff will
present its new fall list of eight
books. They will share
Art from
the Start: How is Mona Lisa Feeling;
Art
from the Start: Mama, Baby & Other
Words;
I’m So Not
Wearing a Dress;
Eye Q Picture Puzzler;
The
Do It Myself Kids’ Cookbook;
My
First Superman Book;
My
First Batman Book;
and
The Lonely Sock Club
(a kit book). Beginning at 5pm, join
us to celebrate Downtown Bookworks,
a new children’s publisher, and all
its wonderful new books. Light
refreshments will be served. Ages 4
and up. 5-7pm.
