Books of Wonder
is delighted to present a parade of
great new picture books for this
fall on Saturday, November 21st,
from 12-2pm. Joining us for this
cornucopia of new books are EIGHT
tremendously talented authors and
artists who will introduce their
latest picture books. Award-winning
illustrator
BARBARA
McCLINTOCK will delight
us with her marvelous new
interpretation of the classic folk
tale,
The
Mitten; visual artist
CYNTHIA VON BUHLER will
introduce her beautiful take on
Aesop’s
But Who
Will Bell the Cats?;
RUTH
SANDERSON, well-known for
her lush illustrated editions of
classic fairy tales and myths, will
present her new edition of
Goldilocks; author
and photographer
SHELLEY
ROTNER will have us
howling at her hilarious new title,
Dogs Don’t Brush Their Teeth;
artist and author
MARC
ROSENTHAL will charm us
with the antics of a resourceful
little monkey in
Archie
and the Pirates;
also joining us will be the talented
author/illustrator
SUJEAN
RIM to talk about her
charming title
Birdie’s
Big-Girl Shoes;
MARK TEAGUE
will be on hand two discuss his
picture book
How Do
Dinosaurs Say I Love You,
as well as his teen and tween novel,
The
Doom Machine;
and

JONAH
WINTER will inspire us
with his two new, timely picture
books,
Peaceful
Heroes and
Sonia
Sotomayor: A Judge Grows in the
Bronx. Beginning at
noon, the authors and artists will
introduce their books, take
questions from the audience, and
then sign copies of all their
incredible works. Ages 3-8. 12-2pm.
