TRAVIS FOSTER the artist that transformed
What's New at the Zoo? into a picture book, and
two time Tony Award Winner
PHYLLIS NEWMAN wife of the late Adolph Green who co-wrote the original song, Phyllis has penned the introduction for the book, also joining us will be the choir from
New York's P.S. 212 who will perform the song for everyone in attendance. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of
What's New At The Zoo? will go to the
Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative. Be sure to join us for this wonderful event, connecting great books and classic Broadway theater, as well as stars of the stage and a young choir full of stars too. Beginning at noon, Phyllis will talk about the creation of the song and its importance to her, Travis will introduce the new picture book, and the P.S. 212 choir will sing the song, after which Phyllis and Travis will sign copies of this wonderful new picture book. Ages 3-7. 12-1:30pm |
