Books of Wonder is excited to announce a special, ghoulish Halloween event for our teen and tween readers: from 4-6pm on Halloween day, Books of Wonder will be hosting TONYA HURLEY as she introduces her new book, ghostgirl: Homecoming. From the best-selling author of ghostgirl comes this spooky new dark comedy about Charlotte Usher who discovers herself existing in a state of limbo between life and death. In order to pass over to death, she must put time in working for a hotline for troubled teens – not exactly her idea of a good time! As part of the Halloween festivities, TONYA HURLEY invites everyone to come in costume and she will be bringing ghostgirl goodies – like ghostgirl tote bags, ghostgirl prayer candles and ghostgirl Hot Topic tees – to give away as prizes for the best costumes! So don’t be late! Beginning at 4pm, TONYA HURLEY will introduce her title, take questions from the audience, give away prizes, and then sign copies of her books. Ages 10-16. 4-6pm.
