Books of Wonder
is thrilled to announce that, as part of our 30th
Anniversary Celebration, three of our favorite
author/artists:
PAUL O. ZELINSKY,
DAVID WIESNER,
and JERRY PINKNEY
will be appearing at Books of Wonder on
Saturday, October 30th from noon to
2pm. All three of these celebrated Caldecott
Medalists will be presenting their new picture
books for this fall.
PAUL O. ZELINSKY
will
present
Dust Devil,
a sequel to
his romping Caldecott Honor book Swamp Angel,
which follows the larger-than-life, spunky,
red-headed Angelica as she sets up a new home in
the wide-open country of Montana and finds a new
friend to help her save the day from all sorts
of pesky varmints.
DAVID WIESNER
will
present
Art & Max,
a picture book about two artistic lizards who
live in the desert and have very different
approaches to their art.
JERRY PINKNEY
will
present his marvelous retelling of
Three Little Kittens,
the wonderful Mother Goose rhyme like you’ve
never seen it before with his energetic,
beautiful, and breathtaking illustrations.
Starting at noon on Saturday October, 30th,
these three amazingly talented author/artists
will introduce their new books, take questions
from the audience, and sign copies of all of
their wonderful titles. Ages 3-8. 12-2pm.
