Books
of Wonder is pleased to announce
that on Tuesday, October 26th,
we will host a group of four very
talented authors who all write
novels for teens, but in strikingly
different genres. New York Times
bestselling author
MELISSA
DE LA CRUZ will introduce
her book
Misguided
Angel, the fifth book
in her Blue Blood series,
which finds teen vampire Schuyler
Van Alen in Florence, Italy as she
sets out on a mission to locate and
protect the seven gates that guard
earth from Lucifer. New York
Times bestselling author
ANNA
GODBERSEN
will present
Bright
Young Things, the
tale of two young women who escape
their small Midwestern town to chase
big dreams in 1929’s New York City
amidst the glamour, wild parties,
and flappers.
NATALIE
STANDIFORD will share
Confessions of the Sullivan Sisters,
the story of what happens when the
matriarch of the Sullivan family
declares that she’s cut the entire
family out of her will, requiring
each family member to come forward
with their secret confessions if
they hope to get anything from the
rich woman.
SUZANNE
WEYN will intrigue us
with
Empty,
a novel set ten years in the future
which finds three teens trying to
cope with their own family drama
while also dealing with the
deterioration of society as oil runs
out and America moves into a
devastating age of crisis. Beginning
at 6pm, all four authors will read
from their new works, take questions
from the audience, and sign copies
of all of their books. Ages 12 and
up. 6-8pm.
