Please join us on Saturday, October 1st, as Books of Wonder welcomes 10 creators of exciting and colorful new picture books for this fall. Beginning at noon, Caldecott Medalist RICHARD EGIELSKI will  give us all the a spook and a laugh with his new book The Sleepless Little Vampire; author/artist JOHN ROCCO will share his latest illustrated gem Blackout; author and illustrator BOB SHEA will share his three latest creations, Dinosaur vs. Library, I am a Shark, and Gilbert Goldfish Wants a Pet; author JACKIE PREISS WEITZMAN and artist RON BARRETT of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs fame will introduce Superhero Joe the first superhero ever armed with a blanket and a garbage can lid; Caldecott Honor book author DOREEN CRONIN and New York Times bestselling artist LAURA CORNELL will present M.O.M. (Mom Opertating Manual) - their guide to the world's most advanced human beings; illutrator GIDEON KENDALL will present his newest book Dino Pets Go to School; Bestselling author and artist collaborators STEVE METZGER and TEDD ARNOLD will enthrall us with the adventures of Detective Blue as he tries to solve the case of a vanished Miss Muffet. Stating at noon this wonderfully talented cast will each share their new books, take questions for the audience, and sign copies of all their wonderful picture book creations. Ages 3-7. 12-2pm.
