Over 50 years ago, ALASTAIR REID introduced the world to his extraordinarily clever, creative, lively word-play in his now-classic OUNCE DICE TRICE.  Please join us on Thursday, September 24^th, from 6pm-7:30pm as we celebrate with a Publication Party the long overdue reissue of OUNCE DICE TRICE with poet ALASTAIR REID. With his eye and ear for the absurd, the poet will delight all with a reading from his classic work as he introduces it to a new generation of readers and listeners.  Filled with word-nonsense and poetry that celebrates the excitement words can ignite in receptive readers, listeners, and reciters, OUNCE DICE TRICE reveals  ALASTAIR REID’s wizardry at manipulating, inventing, rearranging, and rediscovering all kinds of fun words.  Beginning at 6pm, ALASTAIR REID will give a reading from OUNCE DICE TRICE, answer questions from the audience, and then sign copies of all his books. Light refreshments will be served.  Ages 6 and up. 6- 7:30pm.
