Books of Wonder is very pleased to welcome ALEX VON BIDDER, owner of the world renowned Four Seasons restaurant in New York City, and LESLIE MCGUIRK author and illustrator of the Tucker series, to the store for a publication party on Saturday, September 19^th, from 12–2pm. ALEX VON BIDDER and LESLIE MCGUIRK will discuss their new picture book collaboration, Wiggens Learns his Manners at the Four Seasons Restaurant, a story about a black lab who just cannot behave himself when in the company of guests, especially when feasting at a fancy sit down restaurant. When training Wiggens becomes too much for his owners to handle, they send him to the exclusive Four Seasons restaurant to clean up his slobbery act. Your young readers and listeners can expect to pick up an etiquette tip or two as they laugh out loud at Wiggens’ antics. Beginning at noon, ALEX VON BIDDER and LESLIE MCGUIRK will read from Wiggens Learns his Manners at the Four Seasons Restaurant, take questions from the audience, and then sign copies of their new book. And, to make this a truly festive occasion, some gourmet, delicious treats will be provided by the legendary Four Seasons restaurant for all to enjoy! Ages 3-8. 12-2pm.
