to celebrate the upcoming Rosh
Hashanah holiday and the publication
of her new picture book,

is the Birthday of the World.
A tale that affirms the goodness and
value of all life,

begins as God asks each creature on
Rosh Hashanah whether it has been
the best that it can be during the
year. The answers show that each and
every one of us— from the mightiest
elephant to the smallest child— can
make an important contribution.
Beginning
at noon,

will read from

the Birthday of the World,
take questions from the audience,
and then sign copies of her book.
