Books of Wonder is thrilled to present COURTNEY SHEINMEL on Sunday, September 13^th, from 1-3 pm, for a party to celebrate the publication of her new novel, Positively. The thought-provoking, poignant story of thirteen-year-old Emmy Price, Positively tells of Emmy’s efforts to deal with her mother’s death due to AIDS, even as she struggles to cope with her own HIV positive status. Please join us as we celebrate the publication of this moving and timely. A portion of all book sales will be donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Beginning at 1 pm, COURTNEY SHEINMEL will read from Positively, answer questions from the audience, and then sign copies of her books. Ages 9-14. 1-3pm.

Refreshments will be served.

JESSARAE (Jez-a-rae) is a 14-year-old singer/songwriter who is recognized as one of music's hottest emerging talents. His new EP Damaged Heart is currently available on iTunes and through his website www.jessarae.com.  A full length debut CD is in the works and will be released Winter 2010.
