Books of Wonder
is pleased to announce that on Sunday August 15th
we will be hosting FIVE authors and
artists in our latest Picture Book Bonanza!
RHODA LEVINE
will join us to present
Three Ladies Beside
the Sea, the reissue of her
classic Edward Gorey-illustrated book about
Edith and Catherine and their concern for their
neighbor Alice who spends her days aloft in a
tree; JEF CZEKAJ
will entertain with
Hip Hop, Don’t Stop
about the unstoppable rap duo forged out of the
unlikely pairing of a tortoise and a hare;
author THEA
GUIDONE and artist
VANESSA NEWTON
will introduce,
Drum City,
a book about the desire to create with noise and
the fun you’ll have doing just that; and
BOB SHEA
will be on hand with his two new books,
Oh, Daddy,
about how a daddy hippo gets his son to
show him how things are done right, and
Race You to Bed,
about a rabbit who wants to race you to bed.
Starting at 1pm, these authors and artists will
introduce their tales, take questions from the
audience, and sign copies of all their books.
Ages 3-7. 1-3pm.
