Books of Wonder
is pleased to announce that on Wednesday June 30th,
2010 we will be hosting an event with three
authors of new “Coming of Age” novels that
feature romantic adventures abroad.
HEIDI R. KLING
will present her book,
Sea,
about how American Sienna Jones finds herself
helping with the relief efforts after the
tsunami hits Indonesia and ends up falling in
love during a high risk adventure into the
epicenter of the disaster;
ANGIE FRAZIER
will read from her book,
Everlasting,
about how in 1855, young Camille, though set
to be married in San Francisco, finds herself
traveling down-under in Australia looking for
her mother and finding true love in the process;
and lastly,
CHRISTINA DIAZ GONZALEZ will be on hand to
bring us,
The
Red Umbrella, about a 14 year old
girl escaping from Fidel Castro’s revolution in
Cuba and the new life she finds deep in the
Midwest. Beginning at 5pm these talented
authors will introduce their books, take
questions from the audience, and sign copies of
their titles. Ages 12 and up. 5-7pm.
