Fox, a fairytale about a lonely goblin and a
grieving family who find peace and understanding
through their charitable acts of kindness;

EGIELSKI, winner of the Caldecott for
his illustrations for
Hey, Al, will delight us with his new book
Gumption
by Elise Broach, an exciting story about a boy
named Peter who’s on an exciting search in
Africa to find the “Zimbobo Mountain Gorilla”;

EMILY ARNOLD McCULLY who won the
Caldecott Medal for her book,
Mirette On the High
Wire, will introduce her new book
Wonder Horse,
the tale of an extraordinary and talented horse

CHRIS RASCHKA
who received his medal for

Window
will reveal his great new book
Hip Hop Dog
– written by him and illustrated by Vladimir
Radunsky – about the hippest, hoppest rapping
dog in the city; illustrator
PAUL O. ZELINKSY
winner of the Caldecott for his
enchanting version of
Rapunzel,
will bring us a special sneak peak preview of
this fall’s
Dust
Devil, a sequel to his Caldecott
Honor Book,
Swamp Angel; and artist
MARC SIMONT,
who won the Medal for his book
A Tree Is Nice,
will introduce his new book of political
cartoons,
The
Beautiful Planet: Ours to Lose,
and the two reissues of his classic James
Thurber children’s books,
The Wonderful O
and The
Thirteen Clocks. Beginning at
12, these wonderful Caldecott winning artists
will introduce their books; take questions from
the audience, and sign copies of all their
titles. Ages 4 and up. 12-2pm.
