Celebrate with Books of Wonder on Sunday, June 7^th, from 1 to 3pm, as we spend an afternoon immersed in a villain’s eye view of the world of classic fantasy and folktales. Troll’s Eye View: A Book Of Villainous Tales is a collection of 15 original stories and poems by such authors as Peter S. Beagle, Holly Black, Nancy Farmer, Neil Gaiman, Ellen Kushner, Garth Nix, Delia Sherman, and Jane Yolen. Perfect for middle grade readers and up, these stories and poems are told from the viewpoint of such famous storybook characters as Rumplestiltskin, the Giant’s Wife from Jack and the Beanstalk, and the witch in Hansel and Gretel. We are delighted to welcome editor ELLEN DATLOW and three of the wonderfully creative authors who contributed their talents to this great collection: HOLLY BLACK, ELLEN KUSHNER, and DELIA SHERMAN. Each of our guests will speak about their contribution to this new book, answer questions from the audience, and then sign copies of all their wonderful titles. Ages 10 and up. 1-3pm.
