Books of Wonder
is thrilled to announce that on Saturday, May 29th
from 2-4pm Tony Award-nominated actor,
puppeteer, and playwright, John Tartaglia – the
creator of the new hit family musical
ImaginOcean – will return for
another afternoon filled with music, videos,
puppets, games, and a whole bunch of fun!
JOHN TARTAGLIA’s
ImaginOcean
is a family musical that takes
audiences on a one-hour, magical, underwater
journey, overflowing with surprises and special
effects. The seafaring stars Dorsel, Tank, and
Bubbles bring us into an enchanted world of
aquatic adventures where they meet jiving
jellyfish, a strong-willed seahorse and a new
friend – lovable Leonard the Octopus.
JOHN TARTAGLIA
and several cast members from
ImaginOcean will be on hand –
with their puppets! – to introduce this
wonderful family musical with video clips of
select scenes. John will read to the audience
from an appropriately aquatic-themed picture
book, then lead all our young guests in a
spirited game of “Bubble
Ball” along with the other cast members
and their puppets. The afternoon will finish
with JOHN
TARTAGLIA – with the help of his
puppet friend Dorsel – performing one of the
songs from
ImaginOcean with the rest of
the cast! Ages 3-10. 2-4pm.
