of Wonder is extremely pleased to announce
that on Thursday May 27th from 6-8pm we will
have several authors and illustrators joining us
who will thrill and delight young readers with
several fantastic chapter books. Joining us
will be author
SARA PENNYPACKER and Caldecott Honor
artist for
All
the World, Marla Frazee to
present their latest book about Clementine,
Clementine’s
Letters, in which the young hero,
not wanting to deal with a substitute teacher
who doesn’t get her (at all!), does everything
she can to get her favorite teacher, Mr. D’Matz,
to pass up a once in a lifetime opportunity;
author/artist
CHARISE MERICLE HARPER will tell us
about
Just Grace
and The Snack Attack,
where Grace sets out to put troublemaker, Owen,
in his place; Eisner Award-winning writer ERIC
SHANOWER will introduce his thrilling NY Times
bestselling graphic novel adaptation of
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz; author
AJ STERN
will introduce her new series,
Frankly, Frannie,
about young Frannie, a girl who is in maybe just
a bit too much of a rush to become a grown-up; and
author/artist
ERIC WIGHT will regale us with his
fast paced, action packed
Frankie Pickle and the
Pine Run 3000, in which Frankie
must be victorious in a race to earn his next
level in scouting. Beginning at 6 pm, these
wonderful authors and illustrators will
introduce their books, take questions from the
audience and then sign copies of all their
titles. Ages 6-10. 6-8 pm.
