Please join us on Tuesday, May 26th from 5 to 7pm, as we
host a launch party with author
EVAN I. SCHWARTZ
for his new book,
Finding Oz.
Exploring how author L. Frank Baum was inspired to
create one of the most famous and beloved American
stories, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,
Finding Oz
debunks all the rumors and explains the origins and
meanings of the story's places, characters and symbols -
from the Yellow Brick Road to the Tin Woodman to the
Witches of Oz to the Emerald City. The celebration will
begin at 5pm with light refreshments and time to greet
and talk with the author. Then at 6pm,
EVAN I. SCHWARTZ
will give a brief talk and reading, followed by a
question and answer session and a signing. Ages12 and
up. 5-7pm.
