is overjoyed to announce that on Saturday, May
22nd, from 12-2pm, author
BERNARD WABER
– the beloved creator of Lyle the Crocodile
– and his daughter, illustrator
PAULIS WABER
will be on hand for a publication party for the
ninth book about Lyle’s adventures:
Lyle Walks the Dogs.
In this endearing story (that also doubles as a
counting book), the beloved Lyle the Crocodile
starts a dog walking service.
As Lyle's excellent reputation as a dog walker
spreads, the number of dogs in his charge
grows--one dog soon becomes ten, and whether
they are frisky or happy, sniffy or snappy, Lyle
must somehow get them all walking together in
harmony. It may not be easy, but Lyle’s just the
crocodile to do it! Beginning at noon, the
father-and-daughter team of
BERNARD WABER
and PAULIS
WABER will introduce their
collaboration, take questions from the audience,
and then sign copies of their books. Ages 3-7.
