LINZI GLASS - Finding Danny

Books of Wonder is pleased to present a book launch and shelter benefit on Tuesday evening, May 18^th from 5-7pm.  On hand will be author LINZI GLASS to present her new novel for young readers, Finding Danny, the story of Bree, a young girl who loses the only bright spot in her life, her dog Danny, but while searching for him, comes upon the Vox Street Animal Shelter, where she finds new friends, a new purpose—and perhaps a way to put the pieces of her life together. Joining LINZI GLASS will be Janice Krish and Sarah Kowalski of The Humane Society Youth Division, who will talk about their efforts on behalf of abandoned and abused pets, and Doug Halsey from Ready4Rescue, who will talk about his foster program and animals he is trying to save from the city shelters. There will be dogs in attendance (on leashes) from Ready4Rescue. After everyone has spoken, we will take questions from the audience, then there will be time for people to get their books signed by LINZI GLASS. Light refreshments will be served.  Ages 9 and up.  5-7pm
