Joining us will be Caldecott Honor Artist LANE SMITH, creator of John, Paul, George, and Ben and The Stinky Cheeseman with author/artist BOB SHEA, creator of New Socks, who will present their sensational new picture book, Big Plans - a hilarious tale about a boy on the move; MATTHEW VAN FLEET, best-selling author-and-artist of Dogs and Tails, for Alphabet – an ABC book of marvelous fold-out transformations, flaps to lift, and things to touch;
ETIENNE DELESSERT,
celebrated author and artist of Humpty Dumpty
introduces us to Big and Bad – a new look at familiar old tale;
JOHN ROCCO, author
and artist of Wolf! Wolf! brings us
Moonpowder, a nighttime tale of fantastic
adventure; CHARISE MERICLE
HARPER, author of
Just Grace relates Grace's latest
adventures in Just Grace
Walks the Dog;
MARY JANE BEGIN, author-and-artist of Willow Buds: The Tale of
Toad and Badger – an original story based on the characters from Kenneth Grahame’s classic, The Wind in the Willows; and DAVE HOROWITZ, author-and-artist of Twenty-six Princesses – a hilarious tale in rhyme about 26 princesses who are all determined to go to the ball and kiss the prince – even if he is a frog! The authors and artists will each read from their books, answer questions from the audience, and then sign copies of all their books. 1:30 – 3:30 pm
