Books of Wonder
is very
pleased to announce that on Sunday, April 25th,
from 1-3pm, we will be hosting our second April
Book Bonanza featuring EIGHT talents!
VICTORIA
ADLER will
delight us with her fun but informative tale
where readers will enjoy exploring the parts of
the body in
All of Baby, Nose to
Toes;
French illustrator
JOELLE JOLIVET
, famous for such oversized best-sellers as
365
Penguins and
Zoo-ology,
will
introduce her new book,
Oops!
by
Jean-Luc Fromental, in which a minor household
accident creates a chain reaction of hilarious
events and proportions which interrupt a family
as it tries to make its way through Paris to
head off on vacation;
WILLIAM LACH
will amuse us
with his latest tale,
My Friends the
Flowers
about a bee
who just loves visiting with his floral friends;
ALISON
PAUL will
introduce us to a burglar with an incessant love
for ice-cream, particularly sundaes, in
Sunday Love;
illustrator
JERRY SMATH
and author
ELLEN WEISS
will regale us with
The Taming of Lola: A
Shrew Story
in
which Lola, a bratty shrew, must learn that the
world does not revolve around her; and
ROSE LEWIS
and GRACE
ZONG will
introduce us to a little girl who explores her
ethnic neighborhood alongside her mother to
learn more about the country where she was born
in
Orange Peel’s Pocket.
Beginning at 1pm, these EIGHT talented
authors and artists will introduce their titles,
take questions from the audience, and then sign
copies of all their wonderful books. Ages 4-8.
