For a long time, teen authors have rocked out on the page.  Now they're rocking out with instruments!  Introducing TIGER BEAT, the world's first (and maybe last) teen author rock band, in their sure-to-be-legendary debut performance.  Featuring DANIEL "I will melt your face with my godlike riffs" EHRENHAFT on guitar, NATALIE "Feel the Thor-like thunder of my funk" STANDIFORD on bass, BARNABAS "Mortals tremble before this rhythm god" MILLER on drums, and LIBBA "Hell's Glee Club fears my vocal stylings" BRAY on vocals, TIGER BEAT will bring their euphoric rock to Books of Wonder for one night only, after at least six rehearsals in someone's garage.  Featuring the opening act of RACHEL COHN and DAVID LEVITHAN (aka “The Infinite Playlists”), doing a medley of musical reference from their own work as well as the work of other teen authors. The performance is part of the NYC TEEN AUTHOR FESTIVAL.
