Join us, beginning at 1pm, as author and artist SCOTT CAMPBELL spreads the love with Hug Machine, the story of an adorable young boy with a hugging engine that just won't quit; author KATHLEEN KRULL delivers What's New? The Zoo!, a fun, colorful, and factual history of zoos going back to ancient times; illustrator CHRISTOPHER SILAS NEAL shares Go to Sleep, Little Farm, a masterfully-illustrated book about the rhythm of the natural world, portrayed through a small farm where all the animals are preparing for sleep; author and illustrator SERGIO RUZZIER delivers A Letter for Leo, the charming tale of Leo, a mailman, and his unlikely friend Cheep, a lost bird; award-winning author MARILYN SINGER brings us I'm Gonna Climb a Mountain in My Patent Leather Shoes, the laugh-out-loud story of Sadie, a girly girl who does not mind getting her hands dirty; and author and illustrator NAOKO STOOP shares the latest adventures of Red Knit Cap Girl with Red Knit Cap Girl and the Reading Tree, in which Red Knit Cap Girl discovers a hollow tree and all the wonderful things it contains. Picture book lovers are in for an afternoon of colorful fun and great stories as these SIX talented authors and artists share their new books, answer questions from the audience, and then sign copies of all their wonderful titles.
