3wonderful picture books make for 1 fantastic Sunday afternoon, as you and your young readers and listeners take a seat for a storytelling treat. Beginning at 1pm, Coretta Scott King Award artist FLOYD COOPER paints the picture of a starry night with Max and the Tag-Along Moon, the story of a young boy, his grandfather, and the moon that they share every night. Debut picture book author ADAM LEHRHAUPT monkeys around with Warning: Do Not Open This Book! It looks like a book, it feels like a book, and it even smells like a book. But watch out...madness and mayhem lie within! And Caldecott Honor artist PETER McCARTY gets us ready for Fall Ball, in which some young friends discover that even as the leaves change colors, it gets dark earlier, and snow may fall, it doesn't mean there isn't plenty of fun to be had! Spend your Sunday afternoon enjoying these wonderful new picture books and meeting these wonderful picture book creators. The authors and artists will present their latest works, answer questions from the audience, and sign copies of all their wonderful titles. Ages 3-6. Sunday, September 15th, 12-2pm.
