QuickSearch
QuickSearch (located in the green bar on the home page) functions as the universal, search-all mechanism in the Books of Wonder website. As a result, we recommend that you use this search when you are conducting a broad search for subject matter. For instance, if you type the word "dad" in the input field and click "go," all items containing the word "dad" in the title and descriptions of items will be posted.
You can also use this mechanism for searching authors and illustrators of books throughout all the separate sections of the site.
Product Search
The Product Search, located on the home page, features a dropdown menu listing each section of the Books of Wonder website. They are as follows: New Books - which refers to all books currently being published that we carry; Old and Rare; Art - which refers to all original art and promotional and limited edition posters; and Oz - which, of course, refers to all things Oz related (except old and rare oz books and original Oz art).
If you conduct a search using the Product Search, or when in any of these sections of the site, you must limit your search to authors, illustrators, or words that may appear in the title of a product. These search mechanisms do not search item descriptions, so they are slightly less useful for general searches.
As mentioned above, each section of the site has its own search mechanism. The searches within a section of the site will only search that section and will only search the title, author and illustrator. If you wish to conduct a search of the entire site at one time, click back to the home page and use QuickSearch.
Books of Wonder is dedicated to making your shopping experience with us as easy and problem-free as possible. As a result, we will be constantly engaged in implementing ways that will improve many aspects of the site, including searching our database.
